Supported jurisdictions and languages

Where Legally's analysis is tuned to local law, and what that means elsewhere.

Legally analyses documents in 13 languages, with risk scoring tuned to the legal norms of each supported jurisdiction.

Why jurisdiction matters

The same clause can be routine in one country and unenforceable in another. Notice periods, non-compete limits and tenant protections vary widely. Risk scoring compares a clause against the norms of the jurisdiction you select, so selecting the right one materially changes the result.

Languages

Documents can be analysed and letters generated in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Indonesian. The interface language and the document language are set independently.

Outside supported jurisdictions

Documents from unsupported jurisdictions can still be scanned, explained in plain language and queried. Risk scores are then based on general contract norms rather than local law, and should be treated with more caution.
